Powerful 70Nm Motor – Performance for Every Adventure
Experience responsive electric assistance designed to make demanding journeys more manageable.
The ENGWE E26 features a dependable 250W brushless motor delivering up to 70Nm of torque, providing reassuring assistance when accelerating, tackling hills and navigating changing terrain.
Whether commuting through urban environments, climbing countryside lanes or exploring suitable recreational trails, the E26 delivers electric support when you need it.
Selectable pedal assistance settings allow you to tailor the level of motor support to your journey.
Working alongside the bike's Shimano 7-speed gearing, the motor helps make longer rides and challenging inclines more manageable.
With electric assistance limited to 15.5mph (25km/h), the UK-specification E26 is designed around British electrically assisted pedal cycle requirements.
Power when you need it. Confidence wherever you ride.
Exceptional Battery Range – Explore Up to 87 Miles
Enjoy the freedom to travel further with the E26's impressive 48V 16Ah removable lithium-ion battery.
Offering a substantial 768Wh battery capacity, the E26 provides generous energy storage for commuting, recreational cycling and longer adventures.
ENGWE advertises a maximum pedal-assisted range of up to 140km (approximately 87 miles) under favourable riding conditions.
This extended range makes the E26 particularly appealing to riders who want to explore longer routes without frequent charging interruptions.
The removable battery allows convenient charging away from the bike, whether at home or in the workplace.
With an approximate charging time of 5.5–6 hours, the E26 provides a practical solution for regular everyday use.
Whether you're heading to work, exploring countryside trails or enjoying a full day of recreational cycling, the E26 offers the potential to spend more time enjoying the journey.
Please note: The advertised 87-mile range is a manufacturer-quoted maximum achieved under favourable pedal-assistance conditions. Actual range will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, weather conditions, tyre pressure, assistance level and riding style.
26-Inch Fat Tyres – Confidence Across Different Surfaces
One of the ENGWE E26's standout features is its substantial 26 × 4.0-inch all-terrain fat tyres.
Designed to provide excellent versatility, these wide tyres offer a generous contact area with the ground, helping deliver reassuring grip and stability across different riding conditions.
Unlike smaller folding electric bikes, the E26's full-sized wheels provide a more traditional bicycle riding experience, making it particularly appealing to riders seeking comfort and stability on longer journeys.
The wide tyre profile also helps absorb smaller bumps and surface imperfections, complementing the bike's suspension system.
The ENGWE E26 is particularly well suited to:
- Urban roads and cycle paths
- Countryside lanes
- Gravel tracks and recreational trails
- Woodland paths and suitable forest routes
- Canal towpaths
- Everyday commuting and leisure cycling
From everyday roads to new adventures, enjoy the confidence to explore more.
Dual Comfort Suspension – Smoother Riding Across Varied Terrain
Not every journey follows perfectly smooth roads.
The ENGWE E26 features a dual comfort suspension arrangement, combining a front suspension fork with a suspension seatpost to help reduce bumps and vibrations.
The front suspension helps absorb irregularities encountered at the front wheel, while the suspension seatpost provides additional cushioning through the saddle.
Working alongside the wide fat tyres, these components help create a comfortable riding experience across urban roads and suitable mixed terrain.
Whether navigating poorly maintained streets, gravel paths or countryside routes, the E26 is designed to make longer journeys more enjoyable.
Please note: The E26 uses front-fork suspension and a suspension seatpost, rather than a conventional full-suspension mountain bike frame with a rear wheel shock.
Shimano 7-Speed Gearing – Reliable Control
Enjoy dependable manual gear selection with the E26's Shimano 7-speed transmission.
Designed for smooth and reliable shifting, the seven-speed system allows riders to adapt their gearing to different riding conditions.
Select a lower gear when tackling inclines or setting off from a standstill, then shift into a higher gear when travelling along flatter routes.
Combined with the responsive electric assistance system, Shimano gearing provides greater flexibility and control.
Whether commuting through stop-start traffic or enjoying scenic countryside routes, the E26 delivers a familiar and enjoyable cycling experience.
180mm Hydraulic Disc Brakes – Confident Stopping Power
Dependable braking performance is essential when travelling across varied terrain.
The ENGWE E26 features powerful 180mm front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, designed to provide responsive and controlled stopping performance.
Hydraulic braking technology delivers effective braking power with relatively light lever pressure, helping riders maintain confidence in changing riding conditions.
Whether approaching junctions, navigating urban traffic or descending countryside lanes, the E26's hydraulic braking system offers reassuring control.
Combined with its substantial fat tyres and sturdy frame, the braking system contributes to an enjoyable and confident riding experience.
Reliable control when it matters most.
High-Step or Step-Through – Choose Your Riding Style
The ENGWE E26 is available in two distinctive frame configurations, allowing riders to select the design that best suits their preferences.
High-Step Frame
The traditional High-Step design offers classic bicycle styling and a substantial frame structure.
This version is particularly appealing to riders who prefer the familiar appearance and riding position of a conventional mountain or hybrid bicycle.
Its full-sized frame and wide fat tyres provide a commanding riding presence.
Step-Through Frame
The Step-Through version features a lower frame opening, making mounting and dismounting more convenient.
This is particularly useful when making frequent stops, commuting through urban environments or simply preferring easier access.
Both versions share the E26's impressive motor performance, battery capacity and all-terrain versatility.
Two distinctive designs. One exceptional riding experience.
Premium Comfort – Designed for Longer Journeys
The ENGWE E26 has been designed with everyday comfort firmly in mind.
Its robust 6061 aluminium alloy frame provides a strong foundation, while the comfortable saddle and upright riding position contribute to a relaxed cycling experience.
The combination of large fat tyres, front suspension and suspension seatpost helps reduce vibrations and improve comfort across changing surfaces.
Adjustable saddle and handlebar heights allow riders to tailor their riding position.
Whether commuting a few miles or enjoying a longer weekend adventure, the E26 provides a comfortable and capable cycling experience.
Smart Technology at Your Fingertips
The ENGWE E26 combines rugged electric bike engineering with practical modern technology.
Its handlebar-mounted LCD display provides convenient access to essential riding information, including speed, battery level and assistance settings.
